Barbara Shannon Jordan, 66, passed away Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 at her home in El Reno.

Barbara was born in Oklahoma City, she was born to James Klicker and Thelma Virginia (Ellingsworth) Klicker. She was raised in South OKC and attended Hillcrest Elementary and later Capitol Hill High School.

Barbara married the love of her life, Richard Wayne Jordan on August 5, 1974 and they were blessed with three children: Tommy, Shannon and Richard.

Barbara worked for Fred Jones Manufacturing in OKC and she marked the very first woman to work for on the assembly line. She later moved to the payroll department at Fred Jones. She also worked for Turner Brothers, Ceridian and Diamond Back Energy. She later obtained her certified payroll professional certificate and spent the rest of her career working as a payroll manager for Dolese until retiring in 2021.

Barbara loved her family dearly and was a wonderful wife, loving mother and the best grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family, essentially, they were her life. She enjoyed traveling with her family, making trips to the beach and also spent a lot of time at Lake Texoma with them. She was a crafter in her spare time and loved making keepsakes of her special family memories. Barbara also had an affinity for sweet treats…especially fancy donuts.

Each of Barbara's family members have special memories of her and they will hold those near to their heart. Barbara was always known for her contagious laugh, selflessness and also, her shopping addiction. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

Parents; James Klicker and Thelma Virginia (Ellingsworth) Klicker

Husband, Richard Jordan;

Sister, Kathryn Morehead.

Sisters In Law: Mattie Harris and Belinda Bowman;

7 Grandchildren: Haley Jones, Jarett Jordan, Abby Hill and husband, Kolyn; Sydney McCormick and Finace Braden, Ryan Jordan, Kylie Jordan & Zoe Gilbert;

Great Grandson, Braylon McGary.
