Ben passed away on his 83rd birthday, Sept 29, 2015 and was greeted at Heaven's gates by his lifelong friends & cow trading buddies, Lue & Charlie. Ben was born Sept 29, 1932 in Tryon, OK to Emmaus & Ila Dona Breeden. After honorably serving his country in the US Air Force, Ben began working as a commercial plumber and was a proud member of the Plumber & Pipefitters Local Union #344 for more than 53 years. In addition to plumbing, Ben enjoyed raising cattle. On Dec 31, 1962, Ben married his sweetheart, Shirley Fisher & together shared more than 52 years of marriage & raising a family. He was a loving family man who will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters & 1 brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Breeden; daughter, Rhonda Reaves & husband, Hank; son, Randy Breeden & wife, Michelle; sisters: Margie & Betty and their families 4 grandchildren: Zac & wife, Brenna, Matt & wife, Andi, Casi & husband, Clayton and Clay & wife, Morgan; 9 great grandchildren. Viewing will be 4-8 PM Thursday with the family greeting friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Services to celebrate his life will be held 10:00 AM Friday, Oct 2, 2015 at the South Colonial Chapel with burial following at 2:00 PM at Tryon Cemetery in Tryon, OK.
