Berneice O. (Madding) Wooden went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 90 years of age. She was born June 20, 1924 in Blue Ridge, Texas to Royce Elmer and Jewel Ona (Frair) Madding. She was married to Jack A. Wooden, who was a World War II Veteran and employee of the U.S. Postal Service, for over 50 years. They were members of Oakcrest Church of Christ. Berneice worked as an auditor at Leeway Freight Company. Berneice was a homemaker, seamstress, avid reader and rose gardener. She was a wonderful caregiver for her mother and her husband. She leaves behind precious memories with her family and friends and will be deeply missed. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the wonderful nurses and aides at Integris Hospice House on Quailbrook Drive in Oklahoma City, Synergy Home Care, and neighbors who helped her at various times. Berneice was preceded in death by her: Parents; Husband ~ Jack A. Wooden; Brothers, Leon and W.W. Madding. She is survived by her: Sister ~ Janelle Binion of Harker Heights, Texas; Sister ~ Violet Chance and husband Paul of Borger, Texas; Sister ~ Tona Herndon of Bethany, Oklahoma; Sister ~ Audra Trull and husband Joe of Denton, Texas; Nieces and Nephews ~ Sharon, Ronnie, Darrell, Mitzi, Randy, Tony, Paulette, Marion, Jonathan, Greg, Cheryl, Tim and Cindy.
