Services to celebrate Kaye's life will be at 2PM, Thursday, April 9, 2015 at the Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel, 6934 S. Western, Oklahoma City, OK.

Betty "Kaye" Blackwell, was born September 30, 1939, in Oklahoma City to parents, Edward Louis and Margaret Ellen (Gorman) Barrett. She entered our Father's Kingdom on April 4,2015 with her family by her side. Kaye met and married the love of her life, Virgil Leslie Blackwell, and together they had two wonderful children. She worked in the professional field as a Legal Secretary for many years and retired from the Law Office of Crowe and Dunlevy. Kaye was preceded in death by her parents & her husband. She was survived by her two children, Edward Blackwell of Oklahoma City and Kelly Jo Davis and her husband, William (Skippy) Davis of Oklahoma City; her sister and best friend, Jo Barnes of Oklahoma City; and many other family and friends.
