Betty Rose Buettner passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 surrounded by family. She was born on August 24, 1931 in Omega, Oklahoma to her parents, Allie Elizabeth (Rasp) and Walter Parham. Betty grew up in the Omega, Oklahoma area and attended Omega Schools. In 1946, Betty met her sweetheart, Richard Buettner at Kingfisher High School where they graduated from in 1948. She later continued her education at Wright Business School before marrying her one true love, Richard Edwin Buettner on August 22, 1950. This union of marriage was blessed with six children. Together, Richard and Betty shared more than 71 years full of joy, laughter and wonderful memories. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother, and dedicated homemaker, Betty also worked for the Western Heights Public School System for many years. A devout Catholic, Betty enjoyed worshiping and serving the Lord at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she volunteered and taught 4th grade Sunday School for many years. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed many different hobbies such as shopping, cooking and traveling, but nothing was more important to Betty than being with her family and making memories with them. Betty was a generous and loving woman who instilled and exemplified many Proverbs 31 qualities and left a legacy for us all to honor and cherish each day.

Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren;
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
