Betty "Renea" Childers

Betty "Renea" Childers was born Monday, April 9, 1956 to James and Betty Stubblefield in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She died peacefully in her home on September 17, 2021 in the loving care of family and friends. She was 65 years old. Renea married the love of her life, Daniel "Dan" Wayne Childers on August 16, 1976 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and together shared almost 43 years of marriage. Together they raised a loving family. This union of marriage was blessed with four children. They traveled the southern United States with her husband's career in the oilfield until they returned to the Oklahoma City area on his retirement in 1996. They replanted their roots in Newalla, Oklahoma and lived out their remaining days in a home they adored. Renea loved shopping, crafting, tending her flower garden and collecting trinkets of all kinds. She had a box for everything. Most of all she loved bragging about and spending time with family. She always made sure each one of us knew we were her favorite. She was a passionate hippie that loved life and even till her last breath, she never lost her groove. And she adored all her friends. Although we are all heartbroken at the loss of our dear Nea, we also know there is a joyous reunion in Heaven.

She leaves behind her loving family:
Son ~ Billy Lee Childers and his wife, Aimee of West Monroe, Louisiana;
Son ~ Michael James Childers of Newalla, Oklahoma;
Daughter ~ Alisa Carter and her husband, Jerry Carter of Durant, Oklahoma;
Daughter, Sarah Canion and her husband, Brent of Aztec, New Mexico;
Grandchildren: Zachary, Bradley, Blakely, Bryon, Keeley, Triston, Megan, Alexis, and Addison;
Multitude of Great Grandchildren;
Several Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.
