Betty Marie (Jeter) Jackson was born November 12, 1935 in Anadarko, Oklahoma the

daughter of Arthur Melvin and Janie Marie (Reece) Jeter. She completed this life on Tuesday,

September 19, 2023 in Oklahoma City at the age of 87.

Betty was a teacher in many schools in the State of Oklahoma, both secondary and college level

for many years.

Betty married Frederic "Fred" Delbert Jackson. They made their home in Oklahoma City where

they raised their family and were very active members of Kentucky Avenue Baptist Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Melvin Jeter and Janie Marie (Reece) Jeter;

her husband, Fred Jackson; her daughter, Freda Artina Henderson and Freda's husband George;

her grandson, Joshua Creamer; and her sister, Melva Jean Connelly.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Creamer (Roy); her sons, Davey Fred Jackson

(Carolyn) and Kris Franklin Jackson (Lisa); her grandchildren, Kyle Brazeal Henderson, Ronda

Dean, Anthony Henderson, Seth Creamer (Amanda), Kelin Flowers (Duane), Heather Ledbetter

(Dwayne), Austin Jackson (Breanna), Kari Jones (Mark), Kris Jackson (Marissa), Roger Dean

(Jordan) and April Bourdage. Numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Memory Lane
