Obituary

Betty Joanne Mustain, 92, passed away on April 6, 2025 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. She was born February 2, 1933 in Antlers, Oklahoma to her parents, Alton B. Chiles, Sr. and Oma C. Chiles (Holder). Betty graduated from Antlers High School. After High School Betty worked for the Sirloin Stockade, FAA and Oklahoma State Insurance Board in Administration. She attended Grace Baptist Church for almost 70 years and taught Sunday School for over 60 years. Her last few years she attended Del Baptist. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She let her testimony for God lead her life. She was always there to help those in need. Betty was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her:

Parents, Alton and Oma Chiles; Husband, Burrel Mustain Sr; Sons, Burrel Mustain Jr and Thomas Mustain; Grandson, Christopher Mustain, 2 brothers and 2 aunts.

She is survived by her loving:

Son, Larry Mustain and wife Shelley; 4 grandchildren, one great-grandson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Vondel Smith Mortuary at South Lakes (4000 SW 119th St. OKC, OK 73173)
