Betty, 91, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Nov 16, 2015. The daughter of William & Lena Garrett, Betty was born Nov 23, 1923 in Ponca City, OK. A loving wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother and dedicated homemaker, Betty loved and served the Lord, her family & others with all of her heart. She was a charter member of Hillcrest Christian Church and will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Neil Niles; sister, Theda Silvey; sister-in-law, Bobbie Garrett; son-in-law, Bruce Hayes; great grandson, Brock Niles and many others. She leaves behind her loving children: Nancy Hayes, Sherri Moss & husband, Drannon, David Niles, Pamela Shaw, and Donna Hutto; brothers: Bud Garrett, Jr. and Don Garrett & wife, Jeanette; sisters-in-law: Karen Olive, Eddie Niles, & LeeAnn Niles; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren; and many other loving relatives & friends. Viewing will be at Vondel Smith Mortuary, S. Western, from 4-8 PM Thurs & Friday with the family present 5-7 PM Friday. Services to celebrate her life will be held 10:00 AM Sat, Nov 21 2015 at Hillcrest Christian Church, 1501 SW 59th St. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillcrest Christian Church Mobile Meals.
