Betty Louise Shipman went to be with the Lord September 9, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born to Howard and Claudene Stanley in 1936. In her 90 years of life she was a kind and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she loved and cherished. Betty attended Crooked Oak High School. There she found her love for singing and self-taught herself to play the piano. She could listen to a song and then play it. She married Allan Shipman in 1955, and they still remain married in death. Betty worked in the oil and gas industry most of her life where she set new records and had many accomplishments as a female in the all-male industry. She was also an entrepreneur and started a gift shop called Keepsakes Gift Shop for many years in South Oklahoma City. Everyone that knew her loved her. She will be missed and remembered forever.
