Services to celebrate her life will be 10 AM Saturday at the Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Betty Jean Terrell Kennedy was born on July 20, 1925, daughter of J.W. Wilson and Mamie (Church) Wilson, of Choctaw County, Oklahoma. She married Other L. Kennedy on July 16, 1940. Of this union, their daughter, Betty was born. They raised her and provided a loving home. Mr. Kennedy preceded her in death in May of 1982. Later in life, Betty married John Terrell, until his passing, in July of 2004. She had been a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and the First Baptist Church of Bethany, before moving to Missouri, to be close to her daughter. Betty was employed at Bone and Joint Hospital for 30 plus years. Betty was preceded by her: Husband and father of their daughter, Other L. Kennedy, in 1982; Husband, John Terrell, in 2004; Brothers, Earnest Wilson & J. Tump Wilson; Sister, Dorothy Bell; Step sisters, Daisy Fink, Rosie Hipps & Ebbline Thompson. She leaves behind to cherish her memories: Daughter, Betty L. Kennedy-Prater & husband, Paul of Jefferson City, Missouri; Grandsons, E. Lee Brock and Steve Brock & spouse, JoAnne; Step granddaughter, Amy of Downers Grove, Illinois; Great granddaughter, Harper; Great grandson, Richie Begemann.
