Beverley Kay Bell, fondly known as Kay by her family and friends, left this earthly life for her Heavenly reward on Monday, October 16, 2023 at the age of 81. The daughter of Irene Fischer and Jake Russell, Kay was born on January 29, 1942 in Norman, Oklahoma. While she was attending school at Norman High, she met and fell in love with a handsome young man by the name of Jarrett Wilson Bell. The two were inseparable and united in holy matrimony on July 17, 1961. The two were blessed with two daughters, Kari and Debi and a granddaughter, Amber. Together, Jerry and Kay shared more than 48 wonderful years together until Jerry's passing on June 16, 2009. Kay dedicated her life to being a loving wife, devoted mother, and doting grandmother. Her family was the most important thing in her life, dedicating her life to homemaking. Kay was known for her cooking skills. She was the BEST cook, especially when it came to her lasagna dish, fried chicken, cookies, cakes, and pies. The special secret was she stirred with love. She was also blessed with a green thumb. Her lawn was always so maintained, immaculately manicured, both of which gave her so much joy. Nothing gave her more joy than watching her granddaughter grow up to become a thriving adult. She was also so very generous, thoughtful, and kind to others, always giving of her talents, time, and gifts. One of the best lessons she leaves with her family is the truly remarkable desire she had to thrive in any situation with smiles, and love. The greatest lessons in life she taught her family, was how to laugh. She always made certain everyone felt loved, cherished, and supported. Kay truly has a selfless spirit. She will be deeply missed but will continue to live on in our hearts. Jerry and Kay are reunited with their Lord and savior. We know Heaven has another A0ngel today.
