Funeral services for Beverly will be at 1 PM Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel.

Beverly Ann Mitchell, 87, passed from this life Wednesday, June 11, 2025 in Springtown, Texas. She was born May 16, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the daughter of Elmer Joe and Audrey Mae (Nauman) Morava. She married the love of her life, James Mitchell on August 6, 1955, and had 2 wonderful children, Lisa and Michael. They were married 66 years until Jim passed in 2021. Her love for animals started as a young child, and continued until the day she passed, one of her last pleasures was loving on Sheba, her cat. She loved to raise and show poodles, but her real love was when she started her miniature horse farm, raising, breeding, and showing them, as well as caring for all her farm animals through the years. Her favorite hobby was oil painting, of which she painted hundreds of painting throughout her life. She was preceded in death by husband James Mitchell, son Michael Mitchell, parents Elmer and Audrey Morava, and 3 brothers Kenneth, Richard, and David Morava. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Anderson, husband Ted, 2 grandchildren, granddaughter, Taylor Herrera, husband Jimmy and grandson Brandon Anderson and wife Leah, 4 great grandchildren Liliana and Camila Herrera and Teddy and Maisie Anderson. She will truly be missed by all.
