Bill Bernard Stacy was born January 19, 1930 in Haskell, Oklahoma the son of Athel Bernard and Gussie Lee (Spencer) Stacy. He completed this life on Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Oklahoma at the age of 91. Bill married Bobbye Louise Siner on November 13, 1948. Bill and Bobbye grew up in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and attended Central High. Bill graduated in 1947 and Bobbye in 1948. Bill earned BA and MA degrees in American History at Pepperdine University. In 1989, Bill retired as a historian for the U.S. Air Force. They are longtime members of Cherokee Hills church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Bobbye; his son, Donald G. Stacy; two grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Lee B. Stacy.
