Billie John Harcourt passed away in her home, August 20, 2011 at the age of 83. She was born January 6, 1928 in Maud, OK to Lawrence Maynard and Ava Flossie (Rutledge) Lawson. She was raised in the Maud and Wolf area and graduated from Wolf High School. Billie has called Oklahoma City home for most of her adult life. Much of her working career was spent in the secretarial field. She was devoted to her children and many grandchildren. Billie loved having friends and family around her. She is survived by her husband of 7 years; Paul Eugene "Gene" Harcourt of the home, her children; Nancy Hyatt Lepak & Mike of Oklahoma City, Clifford Hyatt and Nancy of Jenks, OK, Bill Hyatt and Stacy of Oklahoma City, and Larry Hyatt and Joana of Oklahoma City, her step-children; Donald Sheffield of Tulsa, OK, Stephen Harcourt and Marsha of Oklahoma City, Paula Tye and Alan of Texas, and Regina Harcourt of California, twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and two brothers; Donald Craig Lawson and Maxine of California, and Gerry Joe Lawson and Donna of California. A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Vondel Smith Mortuary North Colonial Chapel. Contributions may be made to Infant Crisis Services Inc 4224 N.
