Billy D. Jones, 79, passed away on February 8, 2022. Billy was born in Seminole, Ok on December 26, 1942. Billy attended Seminole Public Schools followed by Seminole Junior College and OU. He enlisted in the US Army December 7, 1961 in Ft. Carson, Co. February 1962 he was transferred to Ft. McClellan, AL for Chemical School. May 1962 he went to Hanau, Germany and worked with a chemical maintenance company until May of 1964. He then transferred to Ft. Benning, GA with the maintenance company until he was discharged in December 1964. Billy started working at Tinker Air Force Base September 1969 as a Jet Engine Mechanic. He retired after 42 years. Billy traveled extensively with family members to Germany, Ireland, China, Israel and Jordan. Walking the Great Wall of China and Petra in Jordan were two of his most memorable travel experiences.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Bill & Alma Harper Jones. His Grandmother Mama Harper, who raised him after his mother passed away when he was 6 years old.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly. Daughter, Kellie Bobadilla & husband Steve. Sons, J.R. Short & wife Jordan , & Steve Jones. Beloved brother, Gerald W. Jones and his wife Jeanie. Precious Grandchildren- Robert Hays, Ryan Bobadilla, Rylee Bobadilla, Connor Short, Paytyn Short, Conner Jones & Kira Jones.
