Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Saturday August 6 at the Vondel L. Smith & Son South Colonial Chapel. Billy Clyde Stapleton, 64, passed away peacefully August 3, 2011. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, dad, and grandpa. He cherished the time he spent with his family and friends, and his grandchildren brought joy and fulfillment to his life. He was a proud graduate of the 1965 Southeast Spartans and later went on to graduate from Southern Nazarene University. He was currently employed at S&S Promotions where he enjoyed his job and his co-workers. The respect, honor, and integrity in which Billy chose to live his life was inspiring to many.

Billy is survived by:
• His loving wife of 45 years Sandi Stapleton;
• Son Todd Stapleton and wife Michele;
• Son Scott Stapleton and wife Angela;
• Three Grandchildren Ashley, Shelby and Stone Stapleton;
• And Billy's older Sister Patricia Compton.
