Bobby Ray Butler, 64, of OKC, joined his Heavenly Father Aug. 17, 2010. Bobby was born June 1, 1946 in Gainesville, TX to William and Marie Butler. He served 27 years in the US Army, retiring as CSM of the 1st Armored Div. Among his numerous awards, the Silver Star, Legion of Merit & Bronze Star. He was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and one brother; and his infant son. Survivors include his wife Jane; sons, Thomas and Jason and his wife Mary; daughter, Shanna; grandsons, Teel, Mason, Carl and Riley; sister, Lou Nelson and husband Johnny; and in-laws, Pete and Ruby Jordon. Services are 10:00 AM Friday at Southwest Church of Christ. Committal services will be Friday at 3:30 PM at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville, TX.
