Bonnie Dean Monarch walked through the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the age of 82. The daughter of Cleo (Leary) and Arvil Redden, Bonnie was born on May 18, 1940 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Bonnie grew up in Quinton, OK, and later, graduated from Quinton High School, where she was active as a cheerleader and class valedictorian. Bonnie met a handsome man by the name of Eddie Leroy Monarch and the two fell in love. They were united in marriage on September 22, 1960. This union was blessed with a son, Eddie Craig and a daughter, Kammie. In addition to being a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, Bonnie worked at Bone & Joint Hospital for almost 40 years. At retirement, she was serving as the Director of Information Technology. Bonnie loved to entertain friends and family. One of her spiritual gifts was hospitality. Bonnie loved spending time with her friends in the quilting ministry, where the group makes prayer quilts for the sick, newborns and those in need. A longtime member of Southern Hills Baptist Church, Bonnie was always willing to serve the Lord and others in various church activities and ministries including the quilting ministry, the Encouragers Closet, Grandparents at Prayer, Wednesday night bible studies, and Sunday School class. Bonnie was kind, loving, had a quick wit and was passionate about serving the Lord and others with all of her heart, time and talents. Bonnie positively influenced countless lives for many decades. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother, faithful friend and Godly servant who will be deeply missed each day, but we rejoice in knowing she is reunited with her husband, her parents and the Lord for eternity.
