Bonnie Brown Witham, 68, passed away on May 1, 2011. Bonnie was born in South Dakota July 6, 1942 to Kenneth and Sarah Brown. A devoted Navy wife, Bonnie especially enjoyed their years in Honolulu, Hawaii. A move to Oklahoma City in 1977 opened the door to a career in world travel as she fulfilled the role of manager and subsequently President of a local travel firm. She is survived by her husband, CDR Alan E. Witham, USN; daughters Alison Chakraborty and husband Goutam of Stillwater, OK, Kendall Palme and husband Carl, of San Antonio, TX; Sister Judy McDonald of Springfield, MO, brother Kenneth Brown and wife Jane Rodgers of Chelmsford MA; Grandchildren, Deven and Ian Chakraborty, Orion and Wylie Palme, and many nephews, great nephews and nieces. Memorial service honoring Bonnie is open to all friends and family who wish to attend on Thursday, May 5th, 10 am at Vondel Smith and Son Mortuary, 13125 N Macarthur. Donations in Bonnie's name to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) are requested in place of flowers.
