Brandon Baker, 23, left this earthly life Saturday, November 11th, 2023 in Sulphur, Oklahoma. Brandon was born to William Baker and Jennifer Albanese in St. Louis, Missouri on August 12, 2000 and was raised in South Oklahoma City. Brandon was always smiling and could light up a room with his bright spirit. He loved being a practical joker, was full of laughter, and wanted to bring others joy. Growing up, Brandon was an avid skateboarder, loved fishing and playing basketball. He carried a love for those things throughout his life.
Brandon attended Westmoore High School and in 2017 graduated from Thunderbird Academy. Shortly after, he began his career in construction. Brandon was certified as a heavy equipment operator and worked with earth moving equipment, excavators, forklifts…you name it he could operate it. Brandon was mentored by Jerry Barks and worked for Webb Construction. He was very proud of his work and didn't hesitate to jump right in to take on any challenge and gave his very best to ensure all were happy with the job.
On January 31, 2020, Brandon was blessed with the birth of his daughter, Evangeline Baker. She was the light of his life and she had her daddy wrapped around her little finger. Brandon would do anything for his little girl and cared for her dearly. She was his world and he was always excited to spend time with her whenever possible. He worked hard to support Evie and loved her deeper than anyone could imagine.
Brandon loved his family and spending time with them was one of his top priorities. His brothers were very dear to him and the memories they made together forged a bond that, even in death, will never be broken. In his spare time, Brandon enjoyed skating at many of the skate parks in the Oklahoma City metro, but his favorite place to skate was South Lakes skate park. He and his brothers would also play basketball at the park and fished often down in the pond. Outdoor activities, pretty much anything outside, was his favorite.
Brandon is no longer on this earth, but his spirit, kindness and laughter will echo forevermore through the stories and memories his family and friends hold dear to their hearts.
