Brandon Lee Wallace, 51, passed away at his home in Oklahoma on Thursday April 2, 2026.

Brandon enlisted in the US Army on April 12, 1994. He proudly served his country for 25 years, until retiring on July 1, 2019. He began his military career as a cannon crew member. During his service he was stationed at Schofield Barracks in Oahu, Hawaii and Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Upon retirement, he had attained the rank of US Army NCO charge for 1st brigade S4 95th division. Brandon was an American Patriot through and through. He was proud of his service, his country, and wasn’t afraid to show it. Recently, Brandon was named as the founder of 13 Folds for Veterans, a not-for-profit organization, that welcomes home our veterans with honor through a free flag pole installation and ceremony.

Brandon later worked for Chesapeake Energy from October 2008 to April 2015, and from 2015-2021 he worked for Love’s Travel Stops in the corporate office.

Brandon loved cooking for family and friends, showing off his gardening skills, and attending the annual Stashfest with his buddies. Brandon admired all sorts of art and music. He enjoyed outings to check out some local art or catch live music with his family and friends. Brandon was always hanging with his dogs, Sturgill and Waylon, but his best memories were made while spending time with his family.
