Brent DeLoyd Cockrell went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 2, 2023 at the age of 50. He was born on April 3, 1972 in Oklahoma City to his parents, DeLoyd Cockrell and LaDonna VanHoozer. Brent grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1991. Brent was extremely proud of his daughter, Madelyn, and all of her accomplishments. Brent loved his dog Pepper, horses, raising cattle, hunting, fishing, and all outdoor sports. He was no stranger to hard work. Brent had a passion for training and racing horses with his grandfather Bodie. Brent found a love for working in the oil field and worked his way up through several different positions. He will be deeply missed by all.

Father, DeLoyd Cockrell
Paternal Grandparents, Bill and Edith Cockrell
Maternal Grandparents, Bodie and Joy Curtis
Three Uncles.
He is survived by his:
Daughter, Madelyn Cockrell
Mother, LaDonna VanHoozer
Sister, Teri Downing and husband, Brian
Nephew, Brad Downing and his wife, Kassidee
Nephew, Ryan Downing
Niece, Alyssa Boucher and her husband, Carl
Aunts, uncles, cousins, and many many great friends.

The family will be present to greet friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home
