Obituary

Carmen L. (Zarasoza) Goldman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on March 6, 2024. She was born on the island of Lanai in Lanai City on June 23, 1950.

Carmen was a gentle soul with a fiery but sweet personality who touched many lives with her inspirational words and her pictures posted on Facebook. In fact, her husband referred to her as a Facebook Queen having quite a following of friends and family, and she usurped all of his friends on Facebook. She was a spiritual person who spoke to her Lord every day.

Her life was full as many lives are and she was proud of her Hawaiian heritage. She spent 4 years as an entertainer for Don Ho becoming affectionately one of the "Ho Girls".

She was extremely competent in business, received her master's degree and managed large property communities, one of the largest in Miami.

She maintained her Aloha spirit and made several trips back to the islands to visit Ohana and friends.

Her parents were Mariano and Maggie Zarasoza. Her siblings include Donna Stapleton and husband Ken (deceased), sister Pat Fields (deceased) and husband John, and brother David Zarasoza and wife Em. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Nicholas and her husband Brian and granddaughter, Caitlin and her son Bill Argo and her former daughter-in-law Brenna and their children, Brody and Brock.

She was extremely proud of her family and grandchildren.

A special thanks goes out to the doctors who treated her over the years, the Oklahoma Heart Hospital and above all, Dr. Derek Norman.

Aloha nui loa
