Viewing for Carmon June Kirkpatrick will be 4-8 PM Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the funeral home. The family will be present to greet friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on July 10, 2026, at the South Colonial Chapel of Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary, with burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Carmon June Kirkpatrick, was born September 26, 1936, and crossed over on July 1, 2026. Making the transition prior to her were her parents, Carmon D. “Pete” and Emma Fay Freeman, her husband, James C. Kirkpatrick, and their sons Richard Joel, Clayton Dale and his wife Laura, Trenton James, and great grandson, Achilles W. Canner. She is survived by her brother, Joel R. Freeman (Mary Ann), granddaughter Lucy Renaud(Ronnie) and great grandchildren Jeff P. And Wyatt L. Renaud. She is also survived by grandson, Bobby Cagle (Amber) and great grandchildren Ransom P. And Ryze M. Cagle.
