IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol Sue
Collins
December 18, 1949 – December 27, 2022
Carol Sue Beets Collins, 73, passed December 27, 2022. She was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma on December 18, 1949 to Hugh Williams and Willie Agnes Smith O'Donley. Carol graduated from Anadarko High School in 1968, went to Rose State where she obtained her Associates Degree. She served in the Oklahoma National Guard and achieved the rank of Captain. She then worked 25 years and retired from the Department of Agriculture for the State of Oklahoma. During her time at the Department of Agriculture, she went on a blind date and met the love her life, Bennie. They have been married for 18 years since that date, pretty much inseparable. Bennie and Carol enjoyed spending their retirement time together gambling, traveling, and enjoying a nice ice cold Tecate with lots of salt and lime.
Carol enjoyed spending time with her grandkids outside in the gardens digging up potatoes. She loved going to the lake house, fishing, and being with her friends and family. Carol was known for having EPIC Halloween parties that everyone came to, and her amazing Christmas displays/decorations. Most importantly, Carol loved saying "no" to Bennie. She will be missed by many friends and family.
Preceded in death are Carol's parents, Hugh Williams and Willie Agnes Smith O'Donley; her sister, Patricia Montgomery; and her puppy dog Foxie Loxie. Carol is survived by her husband, Bennie Collins; her three sons, David Beets (Cynthia Smith), Edward Beets (Brenda Beets), Donald Beets (Missy Beets); her eight grandchildren, Chance Collins, Shanea Potts, Rachelle Vursels, Coleston Beets, Stormie Ware, Matthew King, Sierra Beets, Tyler Beets; 9 great grandchildren, and her puppy, Precious.
