Carol Ann Dunton (Kimble), 85 passed away on August 23, 2024. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey on February 4, 1939, to Rowland Myer Kimble, Sr. and Sarah Willauer Williamson.

Carol married Irvin "Pete" Dunton, Jr. on November 7, 1959, in Trenton, New Jersey, following Pete's 20-year career with the United States Air Force, they made Oklahoma City their permanent residence in 1976. Carol worked at TG&Y before retiring in the late 80s.

Some of her hobbies included sewing (making Halloween costumes), crocheting, playing Wednesday night bingo, Candy Crush, taking care of her flowerbeds and making sure her birds were fed.

In her later years, Carol enjoyed watching her grandchildren/great grandchildren grow and was very active in all their interests. She was always their biggest fan.

Carol is preceded in death by: her husband Pete, her parents, brothers Rowland "Bud" Kimble, Jr. and wife Lucy, Lewis Kimble and wife Patricia and niece Karen Kimble.

She is survived by her four children: Duane and wife Nancy Dunton, Sharon and husband David Patterson, Michael Dunton and Jennifer Dunton. Her two grandsons: Christopher Dunton and Jason Patterson. Her favorite granddaughter: Amiee and husband Trevor Yarholar. As well as her seven great grandchildren: Ethan, Emily and Christian Dunton, Max and Mary Patterson and Caiden and Saige Yarholar.
