Carole Joye (Milam) Butler was born July 23, 1942 in Memphis, TN the daughter of Van M. and Rubye Miriam (Grear) Milam. She completed this life on Friday, November 5, 2021.

Carole was raised in Memphis where she graduated from high school. She married William Van Butler on July 16, 1971. They moved to Oklahoma City where they have made their home and were members of Quail Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, making things with her hands and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harold Lee Milam.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Van Butler; her niece, Jeanie Abbott and her nephew, John Milam.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Vondel Smith Mortuary North, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 11 at Quail Springs Baptist Church.
