Carolyn Sue Norton was born on December 9, 1933 to Thomas Owen Norton and Enna M. Norton. She met Marion L. Honeycutt while in high school and they were married on April 9, 1953 when he was discharged from the Army. They were married for 67 years. They were blessed with 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She was saved in 1960 at a spring revival and both Carolyn & Marion served in teaching capacities in church throughout their lives, first at Sunnyside Baptist Church where Carolyn taught high school girls and Marion taught high school boys. They were always sponsors at Falls Creek and they stayed in contact with many of them. She retired from the OKC Public School System. They loved attending events for their grandchildren which included baseball, soccer, basketball, and dance. She was an avid reader and we are pretty sure she has 1000's of dollars invested in books! She loved to go to Branson with family and friends and made 50 or more trips. Carolyn and Marion loved family and went on an annual lake trip to Tenkiller which included fishing, boating, lots of food, homemade ice cream and lots of late night card games. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Carolyn leaves cherished memories with her children, Thomas Honeycutt and wife Kay, Mark Honeycutt and wife Marsha, and Jan Singleton and husband Tim; grandchildren, Blake Honeycutt and wife Breanna, Eli Honeycutt and wife Alena, Ben Honeycutt and wife Meghan, Lyndsay Munson and husband Luke, Whitney Waggoner and husband Jerod, Haley Burson and husband Eric, Ryan Singleton, and Kate Singleton; great grandchildren, Lainey, Miller, Griffin, Jack. Hayes, James, Owen, Ford, Baker, Thomas, Kip, Wynnie, Samuel, Sailor, and Huck; sister-in-law, Dorothy Reed and many nieces and nephews.
