Carolyn Kay Reeve Shriver of Houston, Texas passed into Heaven on August 19, 2009. She was 67 years old. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 3, 1941 to Leah Mae and Leonard Reeve who have preceded her in death. She graduated from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City in 1959 and received her diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Caruth School of Dental Hygiene, Baylor University School of Denistry in Dallas, Texas. She was employed as a dental hygienist in Oklahoma City and Toledo, Ohio and is a past president of the Oklahoma State Dental Hygienists' Association. A loving family woman, she is survived by her husband of 43 years, Don E. Shriver of Duncanville, Texas; two sons, Scott and wife Becky Morgan of Houston and Bradley and wife Debbie Morgan of Maumee, Ohio; three grandchildren, Ryan, Amanda and Bryce Morgan; a sister, Nancy and husband Lavon McGalliard of San Antonio, Texas. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Monday, at Vondel Smith Mortuary North. Memorial Services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday August 25, 2009 at Vondel Smith North Colonial Chapel with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery at 7801 NW Expressway.
