Celebrating the life of Catherine Anne Millwee
March 23, 1960 – October 17, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Anne Millwee. She passed away on October 17th, 2025, in her family home suddenly and unexpectedly from a heart attack. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Annalee Frances Millwee and Roy Edwin Millwee Sr., also her brothers Roy E. Millwee Jr. and S. Scott Millwee. Cathi is survived by her older brother Michael T. Millwee I, her daughter Jessica B. Millwee, and her granddaughters she raised as her own Kaylynn A. Millwee and Haleigh D. Millwee. She also leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and so many more loved ones.
Cathi graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1978. She also obtained her Associates Degree in bookkeeping and accounting shortly after. She was also a Notary of Public which served her well in her career. She had several careers in her lifetime including Bob Outlanders, Pro-Fab Inc, and many others. Her most recent and most loved position was at First American where she was a project manager for 20 plus years. She Loved what she did and the people that she met at these jobs, many of which she was still friends with at the time of her passing. After leaving First American she went on to open her own business Cat's Designs where she made handmade jewelry from her heart to yours.
She will be remembered for her kindness to others, her huge heart for those she loved, and her ability to see the good in the broken. She was a mom who loved her children with her whole heart and dedicated her life to her girls. Cathi spent a lot of time making her bracelets that she would freely give away to others just to see them smile. She was an amazing woman who spread hope and light to everyone. She had a witty sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with her friends around the fire pit. Cathi used to joke that she had a "hug a thug" program because she took in and helped so many people as her own. She was always surrounded by her animals those were her babies too. Cathi was very creative and crafty in many ways from beads to woodwork to ceramics to just about anything. She was a woman who believed in and loved the Lord. She will be greatly missed and the impact she has had on people's lives reaches far and wide.
A memorial service will be held Saturday November 1st, 2025, at 10:00 AM, located at The Well Church OKC, 100 S.E. 46th Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73129.
