Cecil Dale Crawford, 93, passed away on August 19, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on December 29, 1929 to Lark and Mabel Crawford in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Cecil attended Lacrosse School in Spring Creek, OK and attended Minco High School. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1952 at the age of 18. He became the very first youngest command sergeant major and went on to receive many medals and honors before retiring after 38 years in the military. He also worked for Langston's Western Wear for many years and owned his own antique business. He enjoyed refinishing antiques, making them look brand new. He had an excellent eye for detail. He was also the owner of the Ford Dealership in Anadarko for several years. Cecil married the love of his life, Shirley, on May 26, 1978.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents; stepsons, Ken and Keith Punneo. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Crawford; children, Bradley Crawford and Ann Fellinger; grandchildren, Jason Crawford, Joey Punneo and wife, Andrea, and Eric Punneo; great grandchildren, Bailey Punneo, Bryson Punneo and Kingston Punneo; and special friend, Joshua Brown.

Cecil will be greatly missed but his spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who knew him well and loved him.
