Cecil Eugene Swindell received his Heavenly reward on November 4, 2022 at the age of 86. The son of Wilma Katherine (Hamm) Swindell & Joel Robert "Bob" Swindell, Cecil was born on January 1, 1936 in Corpus Christi, TX. Cecil honorably served his country in the United States Army, where he began to learn the trade of welding. He worked as a trailer welder, and also worked for GM as a welder. Cecil was also a devoted husband to his wife Betty J. (Botello) Swindell. Betty remembers that Cecil was always moving and busy. He could work all day, come home and ride his bike for 20 miles, then mow the lawn. Cecil was a faithful member of Southwest Baptist Church for many years. He will be missed, but we rest assured he is in the loving arms of our Savior.
