Services to Celebrate the life of Charles William Merrill will be held at 2:00 PM - Friday September 1, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church (2512 S Shartel Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109)

Charles went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 28, 2023, at the age of 77. He was born on May 17, 1946 in Oklahoma City to Charles William "Bill" Merill & Jessica "Jessie" (Tarrant) Merrill. After graduating from Capitol Hill in 1964, he enlisted in the US Army and was honorably discharged from his unit in 1968. Upon his return, he married his sweetheart, Melba (Williams), and the two established their family in Oklahoma City, where they raised thee sons; Trace, Jason, & Thomas. He was a loving husband, father, and provider for his family. For many years, Charles worked for Lucent Technologies in the testing department for new, and upcoming technology. When he wasn't working, you could find him enjoying life, and cherishing moments with his family.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Melba,

He leaves many lasting memories with his:

Three Sons: William Charles Merrill III "Trace"; Jason Merrill & wife Jennifer; and Thomas Merrill

Brothers: Joe Merrill & wife Brenda, Roy Merrill & wife Lisa

Grandchildren: October, Autumn, Jacob, Skyler, Christopher, Riley, & Phoebe.
