Visitation will be Monday 8/21 & Tuesday 8/22 from 4-8 PM at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary. A Rosary will be held Tuesday 7pm at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary-South Colonial Chapel, 6934 S. Western. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James the Greater Catholic Church Wednesday 9/23 at 10am with burial following at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery- Oklahoma City

Charles Lasaro Monjaras December 17, 1926 ~ September 17, 2015

Charles, 88, passed away on Sept 17, 2015 after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Patsy, who he missed dearly and his sons, Brian Bowman and Larry Bowman. Charles is survived by his sister, Leandra Munoz, his daughter, Lisa (Monjaras) Williams and her husband, Jerry; sons, Bruce Bowman and Michael Bowman; and his faithful companion, Frankie. Charles also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends. All will miss his sweet nature, his playful demeanor and the joy and happiness he spread to all that knew him. Charles' deep faith and gentle heart made him an example to all.
