Charles Dwain Pruitt, a resident of Newcastle, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the age of 70. He was born October 25, 1940 in Council Hill, Oklahoma to Wilburn Argus and Lois Agnes (Robertson) Pruitt. Charles owned and operated his own carpet and flooring company for many years. Charles married Shirley Ann Hopkins and together shared more than 49 years of marriage and raising a family together. He was a hardworking man, loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather and loyal friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his: Parents; Sister, Loretta Jo Jameson. He is survived by his: Loving wife of 49 years, Shirley Ann Pruitt; Son, Kyle Wayne Pruitt; Daughter, Tammy Jo Loyd; Daughter, Staci Dawn Harrison and her husband, Dee; Daughter, Darcy Leigh Darling and her husband, Brad; Brothers, John and Don Pruitt; Grandchildren: Ryan Loyd, Taryn Loyd, Cody Loyd, Devyn Harrison, Padyn Harrison, Kynsley Pruitt, Kyler Pruitt, Kason Pruitt, Dynver Darling, and Brooklyn Darling; Many other loving family and friends.
