Charlotte Ann Bennett (née Parkey), aged 84, passed away on July 24, 2024, in Oklahoma City, OK. Born on January 1, 1940, in Pauls Valley, OK, she grew up and went to grade school in Paoli, OK. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
After completing her college training at East Central University in Ada, OK, Charlotte began her career in education alongside her husband, C.W. Bennett, in Ada. She had been a member of both First Baptist Church in Moore and Emmaus Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, where she sang in the choir and often worked to help maintain the flowerbeds.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of over 64 years, C.W. Bennett; her son, Greg Bennett; her daughter, Stacy Cox; son-in-law, Greg Cox; grandson, Ryan Cox; and brothers, Ted and Bob Parkey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Nin Parkey, and her brother, Scott Parkey.
