Christopher “Chris” Dewayne Brown, 37, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026 in Oklahoma City. His family was at his bedside as he left his earthly body.
Chris was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 28, 1988. Chris was raised in South OKC along with his brother, Tim and sister, Amanda. When Chris was growing up his parents often played video games, and Chris naturally took an interest. He enjoyed playing all sorts of video games, and that continued to be his passion throughout his life. He loved all things Nintendo and anything “Sonic the Hedgehog” themed. In high school Chris was involved for 4 years in the R.O.T.C. program, which he was quite proud of. Not long after he turned 16, Chris began working at Albertson’s, and really enjoyed his job. Chris graduated from Southeast High School in 2007 and continued working in the grocery business.
Chris’ passion for video games never let up. He decided to earn a degree that specialized in graphic design and building video games. Chris began taking courses at OCCC and later graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from Oklahoma Christian University. Chris became an avid online gamer and later established his own web persona, The Crescent Fox. He would post his video game playthrough’s, play with his friends online, and made some really great connections through his gaming. Chris also wrote three books and has them for sale on Amazon. He was extremely proud of these accomplishments. Through his gaming, Chris met his girlfriend Shawndra, as well as many other gamers turned friends. They were his community and brought him great joy and comfort, especially during his illness.
Chris will always be remembered for His kind and loving heart and his unconditional love for his family and friends. The community he fostered with the years of joy he gave through his streaming. He is the best son, brother, and friend you could ever have; He will be deeply missed by all and he was loved by all, his community continues his legacy through their art and streaming in his name. He’s now among the stars and moon he loved so much looking down at all of us. Although Chris is no longer with us, his legacy will live on through his family and friends.
Chris is survived by his parents,
