Clairene Faye Young passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022. She was Born 1927 in Ninnekah, OK. to Ira Logston and Cassie (Bottoms) Logston. She and her two brothers (Von Ray and Bob) were raised in south OKC. Where On May 1, 1939 at Riverside school, she was crowned May Day Queen. Clairene married the love of her life Truman Young in 1947. With Truman, she had many adventures including farming, car racing, boating and water-skiing. They were blessed with a daughter in 1949, Sandra Kay. Clairene worked for International Crystal of OKC for over 20 years, retiring in 1992 to spend time with her husband and family. Clairene cherished family and time spent together. She valued watching her grandkids grow and watching them in all the sports they participated in, this led to her becoming a diehard sports fan, especially with OU football. During football season she spent every weekend rooting for OU and could be heard telling the TV, how rotten those referees were when the call didn't go her way. In 2014, Clairene traveled to Hawaii with family and commented on its beauty and how it was one of the greatest experiences of her life. Clairene will be missed. Even though she is no longer with us, her spirit will live on within her family and through the lives she touched. Clairene was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and husband (Truman Young).

She is survived by her daughter Sandy McKeel, husband John, Grandson John Truman (Johnny), wife Christina and Granddaughter Staci Depel, husband Don, 10 Great Grandkids Katlyn, Cohner, Madisen, Alexis, Dalton, Kelsey, Chance, Amber, Trey, Cameron, Nieces: Vonda Kenney, husband Gary, Janet Christian, husband Paul, Nephews: Mitch Logston, wife Fonda and Mike Logston, wife Tammy and a host on other family members.
