Claudia Gaylene Hedrick went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the age of 79. The daughter of Elsie Mabel (Abbott) and Claud Oliver Byus, Claudia Gaylene was born on December 22, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma She grew up in the Oklahoma City area and attended OKC Public Schools, where she met and fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Amos Hedrick. This union of marriage was blessed with three sons. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother and dedicated homemaker, Claudia also worked for Albertsons Grocery Store for more than 25 years. In her spare time, Claudia enjoyed making arts and crafts. She was especially gifted in this all things creative and loved giving her handmade crafts for gifts. Claudia was known for her sweet, gentle and compassionate nature and always put the needs of her family first. She will be deeply missed each day.
She is preceded in death by her:
Parents, Elsie Mabel and Claud Oliver Byus;
Husband, Amos Hedrick, Sr.;
Son, Amos Hedrick, Jr.;
Son, Ronnie Hedrick;
Four sisters;
One brother.
She will be missed by her loving family:
Son, Scott Hedrick;
Six Grandchildren;
Many nieces and nephews
As well as many dear friends.
