Clayton Dale Kirkpatrick was born July, 1 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He worked in sales most of his life selling furniture at several major furniture stores in Oklahoma City. His favorite thing was spending time at the lake or river, even though his idea of camping was sleeping in a hotel. He loved to spend his early days sitting in his recliner with his daughter, Lucy and 2 dogs, Sandy and Nicole, watching jeopardy; Clayton was a whip when it came to being able to answer those questions. He was still close to his friend group from High School to this day.

He is preceded in death by his father James Kirkpatrick, his grandmother Faye Freeman, his wife Laura Kirkpatrick, his grandson Achilles and his brother Trent Kirkpatrick.

Clayton leaves behind his mother Carmon Kirkpatrick, brother Richard Kirkpatrick, daughter Lucy and Ronnie Renaud, son Bobby and Amber Cagle; and 4 grandsons, Jeff Renaud, Wyatt Renaud, Ransom Cagle, and Ryze Cagle.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 A.M on Saturday January 30, 2026 at Vondel Smith Chapel, 6934 S. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK, 73139.
