Connie Crawford passed away Tuesday, April 19th, 2022 peacefully at her home in Oklahoma City with her loved ones at her side. Connie was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on June 26, 1946 to Elmer and Peggy (Abolt) Francis. Connie was raised in Anderson, Indiana along with her brother Larry. They also had six half siblings Tricia Anderson, Cheryl Fowler, Cindy McMahan, Mary Leonard, Kathy Rice, and Bill Francis. As a young girl, Connie enjoyed roller skating, going to the lake, and going to the movies.

On October 2, 1981 Connie and her family relocated to Oklahoma City to be closer to her brother and his family, and they made OKC their permanent home. In 1995 Connie began a new chapter in her life. She married David Crawford, and the two spent over two decades together making memories with family and friends. In Oklahoma, Connie worked for Diamond Crystal for 25 years as well as Sara Lee Bakery. The last years of her working life, she served in the Cafeteria at Coolidge Elementary. She worked many different jobs over the years, but her favorite was working at Coolidge Elementary. She loved working around the kids and hearing their stories. She was a grandma to all the kids and they loved her just as much as she loved them.

Connie loved to spend time with her family. They were the most important thing to her. She also enjoyed her yard and always made sure everything was pristine. And it was.

She will always be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends. She lived and spoke from her heart, and had a wonderful sense of humor. During family celebrations, and every chance she had, she always shared her wisdom with everyone. Although Connie is no longer here on this earth, her memory will forever shine on through her family and friends.
She touched lives like no one else could.

Connie was preceded in death by her Father, Elmer Francis and Mother, Peggy Stankey and Grandson William (Billy) Rudy Simmons.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, David Crawford
