IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Cordie
Cutter
September 3, 1944 – August 17, 2015
Funeral Service: 2:30 PM Friday August 21, 2015
Location: St. James the Greater Catholic Church
Cordie Mae Frunk Cutter passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of August 17, 2015, after fighting a long and challenging battle with cancer. Cordie graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City and started her career as a cosmetologist. She set her profession aside after having her children to devote her time to raising them as well as volunteering in PTA, Camp Fire and Boy Scouts. Throughout their school years she was well known in their Moore schools with the students in addition to the administration. Later she reentered the work force as an Assistant Manager at Braums, and most notably as Customer Service in Buchanan's Food Mart for more than 20 years. During her final years of working, she held positions in photo labs at Flashback Photo Lab and The Neighborhood Walmart, where she rediscovered her passion for photography. Love and appreciation were virtues Cordie applied to all she encountered. She never met a stranger and her smiling face was recognized many times during her travels with Lester. She is reunited with her loved ones who preceded her in death; her grandson Michael Stoltz, parents Ira and Ophelia Frunk, brothers H.A. and Ralph Frunk, sisters Betty Nichols and Beverly Robison. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Lester Cutter, children; Ruchella Stoltz and husband Timothy, Thomas Cutter and wife Leslie; her grandchildren, Kyle Stoltz and Abigail Cutter, whom she treasures and loves eternally; her sister, Anita Wehrlen & husband, Harley; along with many cousins, nephews and nieces. Viewing will be 4-8 PM Wednesday & Thursday at the funeral home with the family present 4-8 PM Thurs. Cordie's life and caring spirit will be remembered at services on Friday August 21st at 2:30 p.m. held at St. James the Greater Church located at 4201 S. McKinley, Oklahoma City with graveside service following at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, SW 59th and Council Road.
