Cristina Camille Gonzalez, from Edmond, OK, was born on February 20th, 1991, and left us on February 1st, 2025. She was 33 years old. Cristina graduated in 2015 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with her Doctorate in Pharmacy. She was an animal lover and activist and had 3 fur babies of her own: Sirius, Tilly and Moose, whom she loved deeply. Cristina was an ally for women's rights and the LGBTQIA+ community. She was passionate about sports, playing soccer for 14 years and continuing to play into her adult life. She enjoyed watching football and rooting for the Oklahoma Sooners. Along with her love of sports, she was an avid reader of all books, with her favorite being the Harry Potter series. Cristina read Harry Potter numerous times, often calling the books her friends. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt. She cared deeply for others and will be greatly missed by all.

Cristina is survived by her parents, Roberto Gonzalez and Jeanne Gonzalez; her siblings, Stephana Gonzalez, Andres (Ashton) Gonzalez, and Olivia and (Bradley) Hodges-Gonzalez; nieces, Evelyn and Emilia Gonzalez; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lee and Hyla Kesey, Carmen and Cosme Gonzalez, and her older sister, Alyscia Gonzalez.

A celebration of life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Vondel L. Smith Funeral home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We ask that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to a local animal shelter in her name.
