Obituary

Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Wilson was born February 24, 1955, in Pontiac, Michigan, originally

from Clarkston, MI. Cindy received her wings on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Oklahoma City at

the age of 70. Through years of fighting cancer, she never let it diminish her radiant smile,

dampen her optimism or take away the joy of being with her friends and family.

Cindy graduated with a Registered Nurse degree from the Hurley School of Nursing in Flint,

MI. During her 50 years of nursing, she cared for oncology, pediatric, and ICU patients. Cindy

was well respected and loved by doctors, nurses and hospital staff. Outside of work she enjoyed

golfing, sewing, home improvement, any DIY project and making margaritas. She welcomed a

challenge, leading to her love for motorcycle riding and many miles on her own two wheels.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Ulysses Wilson, whom she married on February 24,

1983. She was a devoted mother to Joshua Alan Wilson and Travis Jerel Wilson, as well as her

niece Heather (Ron) Roberson and step-children; she has one surviving grandson, Joshua J.

Wilson. Cindy loved enjoying time with her great-nephews Cole and Huxton Curry. She is

survived by her father, Farrell Wagner; her sisters, Robbin (Roy) Head, Catherine (Mickey)

Sergeant and Tina (Greg) Curry; her brother, Blaine (Mary) Wagner; many beloved

nieces/nephews and many beloved friends she referred to as family.

Cindy was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Rene Wagner Wilson; her mother, Luella

Wagner; her grandson, Deondre Wilson; and her brother, Wade Russell Wagner.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the physicians/staff who cared for her over

the years and personally thank Dr. Hull, Dr. Dernaika, Dr. Feighner and Dr. Reed. To the staff

of Mercy Hospital, thank you for your care and kindness during this difficult time. A very

special thanks to Robyn Risigner for the support and love.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Memorial Services to be held 11:00 AM,
