Daniel Lee Helsley passed away on Jan. 8, 2020. Daniel is survived by

his wife of 12-years Shannon and their two daughters Sophia and Emilia; his

mother Sharon Amerson Helsley Lewis; father Kenny Helsley; brother Matt

Helsley and many other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harry Joe Helsley and Polly Helsley;

and grandparents Orville Joe Amerson and Mary Joan Amerson Todd; and

step-father Dale K Lewis and many other loving family relatives.

After a formidable seven -and-a-half years he earned his Bachelor's degree in

electrical engineering technology from Oklahoma State University. Daniel was an

extremely hard-worker and rarely missed a day of work at Nortek. He managed a

team of electrical / controls engineers in his position as Manager of Electrical /

Controls Engineering.

Daniel loved to do outdoor activities with his daughters and take them camping. He

spent time fishing and golfing with friends.

Daniel's handiwork can be seen throughout his home and the homes of his friends.

He was always available to lend a hand and his expertise to those who needed him.

Daniel's celebration of life will be Friday, Jan. 17 at 4 pm at Spring Creek Baptist

Church.
