Dao Daovorn Lasher, age 66, died August 11, 2019 peacefully and painlessly at her home in Orlando, Florida after her four year battle with colon cancer. Her funeral service will be held in her hometown of Oklahoma City, OK. Dao was born on November 30, 1952 in Vientiane, Laos to Kong and Kon Viphonxay. She immigrated to America in 1976 with her first husband Bounchan Sayavong. She is survived by her children: Nirakorn Nick (Aie) Sayavong, Outhorn (Oun) Sayavong, Anousorn (Ann) Alvarez-Sayavong, Somphone (John) Sayavong. Son-in-law Jack Alvarez. Her five grandchildren: Delaney Donaghey, Johnathan Sayavong, Elias Sayavong, Jace Alvarez, Jlene Alvarez, and one great-grandchild, Kai Donaghey-Barr. Her sister Doungchanh Thammavongsa of Oklahoma City and brother, Sisouphan Viphonxay of Vientiane Laos and further nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her kindness, and loyal demeanor, she was a friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
