Darius Lee Edwards was born June 10, 2004 in Oklahoma City the son of Shannon Dawn Frost and Doly Eugene Edwards. Darius tragically died unexpectedly on Friday, June 13, 2024.

Darius was raised in Oklahoma City and Dallas. He played football, basketball, baseball and soccer. He loved fast cars, had a mustang and a Camaro; He loved video games, and he loved spending time with his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude and he could always make you laugh. He was a good cook, loved to take his family out to nice new places. He was a musician, and artist, a comedian and was dedicated to his family and friends and he shined brighter than this world. He will be deeply missed and life will never be the same without him here with us.

He worked as a Sales Account Manager selling home warranties for Meridian Inc., He was so grateful for his mentor and boss, Adrian De Los Angeles. Darius was so happy he was able to travel with work and go to Las Vegas and Dallas, and he was looking forward to traveling to Atlanta.

Homegoing celebration will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 22, 2024 in the Vondel L. Smith and Son Mortuary North Colonial Chapel, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd.
