A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 28th at Putnam City Baptist Church, 11401 N. Rockwell, Oklahoma City.

Darrell Godfrey Ward was born March 24, 1957 in Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C. the son of Charles Delano and Ann Veronica (Leathers) Ward. He completed this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the age of 60.

Darrell was raised in Oklahoma City where he graduated from John Marshall High School in the class of 1975. He worked for many years as a parts manager for United Petroleum Transport. One of his passions was being an antique car collector. He was a member of the Pontiac G.T.O. Club of Oklahoma.

Darrell is survived by his mother, Mrs. Charles D. (Ann) Ward of Edmond; his sisters, Sheryl Ann Ore and her husband Robert of Edmond and Annabelle L. Ward and Brad Nixon of Edmond and many other relatives and close friends. Darrell never met a stranger, he was loved by everyone.
