A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday April 22, 2023 at Vondel L. Smith & Sons Mortuary at South Lakes (4000 SW 119th St.) There will be no viewing or visitation.

Delores "Dee" Stoyanoff

February 6, 1933 ~ April 14, 2023

Delores "Dee" Stoyanoff, 90, joined her Heavenly Father & a host of family awaiting her arrival in heaven on April 14, 2023. She was born in East Saint Louis, Illinois on February 6, 1933 to William Stelzer & Sophia Bryant. Dee spent her early childhood years all over the country from Illinois to California to Nebraska back to Illinois, she graduated from Granite City High School in 1950. She later began a career in Bookkeeping with Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1969 she married Samuel Stoyanoff and the two made their home in Granite City, Illinois where Dee worked as the supervisor at the Nameoki Township before moving to Oklahoma City in 1993. For many years she ran the voting polls, volunteered as a tutor for the Oklahoma City Whiz Kids program, greeted at St. James Catholic Church, and was very involved in her children and grandchildren's lives. Dee danced throughout her life. Her favorite family tradition was the annual Christmas Eve party. She made everyone she met her best friend and had deep connections to the people in her communities of Granite City, Omaha, and South OKC.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; husband, Samuel Stoyanoff, brother Richard Stelzer, and Son-In-Law, Rodney Miles MD.

She leaves wonderful memories with her:

Daughter, Dawn Miles;

Son, Stacy Stoyanoff & his wife Dawn Stoyanoff;

Sister, Roseanne Bates & husband Don Bates;

Grandchildren: Deanna Miles & wife Nabilah Rowdah, Karissa Miles, Sydney Moreno & husband Joshua Moreno, and Samuel Stoyanoff, as well as many extended family and dear friends.
